W 1950 roku Kolejarski Klub Sportowy Odra za sprawą Eugeniusza Pussaka wzbogacił się o sekcję szermierczą. Od 18 lutego 1957 roku sekcja szermiercza funkcjonowała już jako osobny klub sportowy. Wśród najwybitniejszych członków należy wymienić: Marka Kuszewskiego (szablistę, medalistę olimpijskiego), Jerzego Wojciechowskiego (szpadzistę) czy A. Krajewskiego (olimpijczyka z Helsinek z 1952 r.).
