This is an extraordinary story about people who, in defiance of communist restrictions, conquered the highest peaks of the Himalayas and Karakorum back in the 1970s. Overcoming political, financial and equipment barriers, they pursued their dreams of freedom, proving their indomitable spirit and passion for the mountains.
During the guided tour you will learn the stories of the brave climbers, see unique exhibits and feel the atmosphere of those expeditions.
