GDPR Information
According to Art. 13 sections 2 and 3 of Regulation 2016/679 of the European parliament and (EU) Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), the following information related to the processing of individuals’ personal data is presented:
I. PERSONAL DATA ADMINISTRATOR

II. DATA PROTECTION INSPECTOR

III. AIMS AND BASES FOR PROCESSING
Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

Activities involved in creating and concluding contracts to which you are a party,

Fulfilling the Centre’s legal obligations, in particular while performing tasks, especially in the context of collecting materials of historical, academic and similar character,

Ensuring safety on the premises of the Centre – in particular, video monitoring,
-
Conducting the reasonable business of the Centre, such as service, investigation and defence in the event of mutual claims; maintaining relationships with clients, visitors and other entities,
-
Przetwarzanie danych w ramach prowadzonych rekrutacji pracowników, praktykantów, wolontariuszy,
-
Implementation of projects, competitions and other events organised by the Centre,
-
Other reasons, as agreed to, on an individual basis, by all Parties.
The legal basis allowing the Centre to process individuals’ personal data is article 1 section 6 letter b concerning concluding contracts; article 6 section 1 letter c in relation to the performance of obligations under the law; article 6 section 1 letter a for processing on the basis of mutual consent; and article 6 section 1 letter f in cases of processing data on the basis of reasonable activity, as indicated above. In certain situations, data collected by the Centre may include particular categories of personal data processed on the basis of article 9 section 2 letter j of the GDPR.
IV. DATA RECIPIENTS
An individual’s data may be disclosed by the Centre to an entity with which it is working (the Recipient), especially those providing information, courier, postal or transport services.
V. PERIOD OF DATA STORAGE
An individual’s personal data will be stored for the following periods:

the term of the contract,
-
until the date of expiry of responsibilities for the processing of data resulting from legal regulations,
-
until the mutual claims under the contract or other legal relationship have expired,
-
withdrawal of consent.
VI. YOUR RIGHTS
You have rights related to the processing of personal data:

the right to access to the content of your data,
-
the right to amend personal data,
-
the right to delete personal data or limit its processing,
-
the right to object,
-
the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
VII. INFORMATION ON THE OBLIGATION/FREEDOM TO PROVIDE DATA
Submitted personal data (in situations where data is collected directly by the Centre from the individual concerned) and consent to its processing (if processing requires such agreement) is voluntary, but essential for the concluding of contracts, the provision of services or participation in projects, competitions and events organised by the Centre. Consent may at any stage be withdrawn, which does not affect the validity of previous processing.
