The Department of Historical Archives (The Documentation Centre)
The Department of Historical Archives is dedicated to collecting, processing, and making available archival materials and memorabilia donated by our Benefactors.
Our collections encompass a wide range of materials, including oral history testimonies, museum objects, photographs, archival documents, letters, publications, and broadly defined social life documents. You can access our catalogue of processed collections online at: http://atom.zajezdnia.org.
The unique character of our collections includes not only significant figures who have influenced Polish and global history but also the forgotten stories of ordinary people and local communities. The memorabilia, documents, and photographs in our archive provide insights into both everyday and extraordinary experiences of individuals, families, and groups living in the Western and Northern Territories of Poland after World War II.
The photographs and records available offer new research possibilities and facilitate a deeper understanding of the history of Wrocław, Lower Silesia, and other regions of Poland.
We invite you to contribute photographs, documents, and other memorabilia related to Wrocław. These items will be safely preserved and made accessible to those interested in contemporary history. We also encourage you to explore our Digital Archive for more information.
