GDPR
In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), we provide the following information regarding the processing of your personal data:
I. DATA CONTROLLER

II. DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

III. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Taking steps to enter into and perform a contract to which you are a party,
- Fulfilling legal obligations imposed on the Centre, particularly in relation to tasks such as the collection of historical, scientific, or similar materials,
- Ensuring safety within the Centre’s premises, especially through video surveillance,
- Pursuing the Centre’s legitimate interests, such as handling, asserting, or defending claims; maintaining relationships with contractors, visitors, and other entities,
- Processing data in the context of recruitment for employees, interns, or volunteers,
- Carrying out projects, competitions, and other events organised by the Centre,
- Other purposes, based on your explicit consent.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(b) for contract execution; Article 6(1)(c) for fulfilling legal obligations; Article 6(1)(a) for processing based on consent; and Article 6(1)(f) for processing based on the legitimate interest of the Centre. In specific situations, the Centre may process special categories of personal data, as outlined in Article 9(2)(j) of the GDPR.
IV. DATA RECIPIENTS
Your personal data may be disclosed by the Centre to its cooperating entities (recipients), particularly those providing IT, courier, postal, or transport services.
V. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Your personal data will be stored for the following periods:
- The duration of the contract,
- Until the expiration of data processing obligations arising from legal regulations,
- Until the expiry of any mutual claims arising from the contract or other legal relationship,
- Until consent is withdrawn.
VI. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:
- The right to access your data,
- The right to rectify your personal data,
- The right to delete your personal data or limit its processing,
- The right to object.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
VII. INFORMATION ABOUT THE REQUIREMENT/VOLUNTARY NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
Providing your personal data (in cases where data is collected directly from you) and granting consent for processing (if processing is based on your consent) is voluntary but necessary for entering into contracts, providing services, or participating in projects, competitions, or events organised by the Centre. The consent given may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
