To make your visit as smooth as possible, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions with all the answers. And it’s all in one place! Take a look below.
How can I buy a ticket?
Tickets, which grant access to the exhibition, can be purchased at the ticket office of The Depot History Centre or through the online store at sklep.zajezdnia.org. The ticket office is open on the days the Centre is open, up until one hour before closing time.
How much are the tickets?
- Standard ticket – 20 PLN
- Reduced ticket – 10 PLN
- Family ticket (for up to 2 adults and 2 or more children over the age of 7) – 55 PLN
- School group ticket – 80 PLN (A guide from The Depot History Centre or a certified City Guide of Wrocław must accompany the group.)
- The fee for a guided tour for a school group is 100 PLN.
– Single guided tour in Polish by a guide from The Depot History Centre (group up to 30 people) – 100 PLN.
– Single guided tour in English by a guide from The Depot History Centre (group up to 30 people) – 150 PLN.
How can I book a guided tour?

Is it necessary to book a guided tour to visit The Depot History Centre?
You can visit The Depot History Centre individually without needing to book a guided tour.
However, organised groups must be accompanied by a guide when visiting the main exhibition.
Who is eligible for discounts?
Discounts are available for:
- Veterans (upon presenting a valid ID or document confirming age or type of discount);
- Children and school students, as well as university students and doctoral candidates (upon presenting a valid student or doctoral ID);
- Pensioners;
- People with disabilities and their caregivers;
- A discount may be granted for a single purchase of 100 or more tickets. The Director of The Depot History Centre will determine the amount of the discount.
Staff at The Depot History Centre reserve the right to check tickets and verify documents entitling the holder to a discount.
Is it possible to visit The Depot History Centre free of charge?
Free admission is granted to:
- Witnesses of History – individuals who have recorded their memories for historical research conducted by the Centre (as listed in the Witnesses of History register);
- Children under 7 years of age;
- People over 60 years of age;
- Contributors to the main exhibition and collaborators of the Centre involved in the exhibition, as listed in the foyer of The Depot History Centre;
- Teachers with a ‘Teacher’s Card’ from The Depot History Centre;
- Individuals who have obtained permission from the Director of the Centre;
- Honorary Blood Donors with a III degree badge or higher – upon presenting an Honorary Blood Donor ID:
- Women who have donated at least 5 litres of blood or an equivalent amount of other blood components,
- Men who have donated at least 6 litres of blood or an equivalent amount of other blood components;
- City Guides of Wrocław with a certificate;
- Preschool groups and/or children from kindergarten classes in primary schools along with their caregivers (including free guided tours by a guide from The Depot History Centre);
- Individuals awarded the Order of the White Eagle, the War Order Virtuti Militari, the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland, or the Medal of Merit to Culture Gloria Artis;
- Employees of museums registered in the National Register of Museums;
- Members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) or the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS);
- Holders of the Pole’s Card, as defined by the Act of 7 September 2007 on the Pole’s Card (Journal of Laws of 2017, items 1459 and 2282);
- Holders of the status of anti-communist opposition activists or persons persecuted for political reasons, as defined by the Act of 20 March 2015 on anti-communist opposition activists and persons persecuted for political reasons (Journal of Laws of 2015, item 693, as amended);
- Groups from therapeutic centres, day care centres, and occupational therapy workshops.
Staff at The Depot History Centre reserve the right to check tickets and verify documents entitling the holder to free admission.
What are the visiting hours for The Depot History Centre?

How long does it take to visit the exhibitions?
The average time to visit the “Wrocław 1945–2016” exhibition is approximately two hours.
The duration for visiting temporary exhibitions is estimated separately for each exhibition.
Can children of all ages visit The Depot History Centre?
There are no age restrictions for our permanent exhibition, “Wrocław 1945–2016”
However, children under 12 must visit The Depot History Centre accompanied by parents, teachers, guardians, or other responsible adults.
Can I get to The Depot History Centre using public transport?
You can reach The Depot History Centre by tram lines 4, 5, 11, and 14, or by bus lines 126, 134, and 602. The nearest stop is Bzowa (Centrum Zajezdnia).
Does The Depot History Centre have parking for visitors?
The Depot History Centre has a parking facility for guests. To access and use the parking, you need a parking ticket, which can be obtained from the machine at the entrance. You must pay for parking at the automated payment machine before exiting the parking area. After payment, you must leave the parking within 15 minutes. The parking ticket allows for free parking for up to 15 minutes from the time of entry without additional charges.
The parking is unsecured and is provided free of charge for visitors to The Depot History Centre. A barcode on the reverse side of the exhibition ticket allows for exit from the parking.
Parking is also free for those working with the “Remembrance and Future” Centre.
Does The Depot History Centre have a cloakroom for visitors?
The Depot History Centre provides coat hooks and deposit lockers for guests. To use a locker, you need to insert a two-zloty coin, which is refundable upon retrieving your belongings.
Does The Depot History Centre have luggage storage?
The Depot History Centre provides deposit lockers for luggage storage. To use a locker, you need to insert a two-zloty coin, which is refundable upon retrieving your items.
For larger items (such as bags and backpacks) and any objects that may pose a risk to the safety, health, or life of others, you must leave them in the cloakroom, reception area, or deposit lockers as directed by the staff.
Is it allowed to take photographs and film the exhibition?
You are allowed to take photographs and film within the exhibition. If you post any material on social media, please tag the Centre’s profiles:

Is there a souvenir shop at The Depot History Centre?
The Depot History Centre has a shop where you can purchase souvenirs and publications from the Remembrance and Future Centre. Payments can be made in cash or by card.
The shop is open during the Centre’s operating hours.
Can I securely lock my bicycle at The Depot History Centre?
Yes, bicycle racks are located in the area around The Depot History Centre.
Can a City Guide of Wrocław conduct tours for groups at The Depot History Centre?
External guides, such as City Guides of Wrocław, can conduct tours at The Depot History Centre if they have obtained the necessary permit (certificate) issued by the Centre. The procedure for obtaining this certificate is detailed in the “Regulations for City Guide Certification”, available at www.zajezdnia.org/regulaminy.
Can I bring my dog into the museum?
Pets are not allowed inside The Depot History Centre, except for guide dogs.
Can I use my phone in the exhibition?
There are no restrictions on using mobile phones in the “Wrocław 1945–2016” exhibition. However, please note that the exhibition spans multiple levels, and mobile signal coverage may vary on different floors.
Is The Depot History Centre accessible for visitors with disabilities?
The Depot History Centre is equipped with facilities for visitors with mobility impairments, including ramps and elevators. The exhibition is accessible to wheelchair users; if you require assistance, please inform the Centre’s staff. A wheelchair is also available for guests upon request, provided in advance.
Is The Depot History Centre accessible for visitors who are blind or partially sighted?
The staff at The Depot History Centre is trained to assist visitors who are blind or partially sighted. If you notify us in advance, we can arrange for a staff member to provide assistance.
Is The Depot History Centre accessible for visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing?
The exhibitions at The Depot History Centre include numerous descriptions in both Polish and English, allowing deaf or hard-of-hearing visitors to fully enjoy the displays.
What is not allowed at The Depot History Centre?
The following rules apply at The Depot History Centre:
- Animals are not allowed (except for guide dogs).
- Open flames, smoking of tobacco or other substances, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited.
- Moving or removing any items of the Centre’s furnishings and displays is not allowed.
- Damaging any part of the Centre’s arrangements and equipment is prohibited.
- Entering areas that are not designated for visitors is not allowed.
- Large bags (such as bags and backpacks) and items that could pose a risk to safety, health, or well-being must be left in the cloakroom or lockers upon staff request.
- Running and climbing on displays or fixtures is not permitted.
- Staying in the Centre outside of opening hours is prohibited.
- Excessive noise that disturbs other visitors is not allowed.
- The use of hallucinogens, consumption of beverages (including alcoholic drinks), and eating (except in the designated food service areas) are prohibited.
Can you be asked to leave The Depot History Centre?
Yes, staff at The Depot History Centre can refuse entry or ask visitors to leave if they:
- Are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances affecting their behavior.
- Carry weapons or any items that could threaten the safety or health of others.
- Exhibit aggressive or provocative behavior, or act in a manner that jeopardizes the safety of the exhibits, disturbs other visitors, or breaches common public conduct standards.
- Are inappropriately dressed.
Failure to follow staff instructions may result in termination of the visit.
In cases where there is an immediate threat to the safety or health of visitors, the Centre reserves the right to terminate the visit for all individuals present.
The Depot History Centre also reserves the right to refuse entry or ask to leave any organized groups or individuals who do not comply with the Visitor Regulations.
