At The Depot History Centre, we bring the story of Wrocław to life. Let yourself be swept away on this fascinating journey! We offer a rich educational program specifically designed for children and young people, making the exploration of history an exciting adventure. We invite children from preschools and primary schools, as well as students from secondary schools, to join our guided tours, educational activities, and workshops.
Every group—regardless of age—will find something to suit their needs: the content presented during tours is tailored to the students’ level and meets the curriculum requirements for each age group. Our team is also trained to guide visitors with disabilities.
The cornerstone of The Depot History Centre is the permanent exhibition “Wrocław 1945–2016″—a scenographic, interactive, and multimedia display enhanced with thousands of photographs, audio-visual materials, and unique artifacts. It tells the story of Wrocław’s post-war history and its inhabitants—migrants from various parts of Poland and the Eastern Borderlands—who helped rebuild the city’s social, cultural, and scientific fabric. The permanent exhibition is housed in the former Bus Depot No. VII on Grabiszyńska Street, a location of great significance in local history where Wrocław’s “Solidarity” movement was born.
