String Art Workshops
DURATION: up to 1.5 hours
String art is a technique for weaving colourful yarn, embroidery floss, or thread into intricate designs, originating in the 19th century. The patterns we use often depict geometric representations of animals or objects. First, the outlines of the design are applied to a wooden base, either by drawing or using a printed image, then nails are hammered into the wood to form the framework. This activity promotes well-being, stimulates imagination and creativity, and enhances focus and concentration.

Macramé Workshops
DURATION: 2–2.5 hours
Macramé is the art of hand-knotting cords without using tools like crochet hooks or knitting needles. This craft dates back to ancient times and has recently regained popularity in a modern form. With macramé techniques, you can create a variety of items, from decorations and plant hangers to woven rugs and hammocks. The only limits are time, imagination, and the amount of cord available. During the workshop, participants will learn basic knots and create their own macramé piece.
